Benjamin Ignalino,  Program Coordinator for In the Mix (ITM):

Has worked with the In the Mix program for over 9 years. A poet, abstract painter and advocate for community change, he has a
skill for bringing out the best in people. You can find him running from meetings to events to outreach.  Ben is that person you
can go to when you are in need of a sounding board, testing referrals and/or a space to vent.

Kevin O'Rourke, Program Coordinator for Monitoring and Evaluation of Mpowerment (MEM):

Think of him like Papa Smurf.  He's a little gray around the edges, but still just a cub scout at heart.  You will find Kevin helping
to gather your thoughts and feelings about ITM so that we can continually improve the great programming and the activities
you come to expect.  Kevin is that person to go to for information about Evaluation.

Danny Dwaine Wells II, Health Educator:

Not to be confused with the 1st. He is a powerhouse of energy and creative thoughts. Dwaine comes to the ITM program from
Atlanta, GA. His passion is dance, theater and costume design. Currently, Dwaine recently completed his Bachelors in Fine Arts from San Diego
State University. He is always ready to back flip into action for the program. Dwaine is probably the first person you’ll hear
when you come to the drop in space. Dwaine is that person to go to when you have questions about Community Events
and Mixers.

Jorge Barrera, Health Educator:

Having been a volunteer with the ITM crew for over 6 years, Jorge has now taken the plunge into being on staff.  During his time as a volunteer, Jorge built strong relationships with peers and advocated for issues and change for gay and bisexual young men of color in San Diego.  He is kown around the office as the planner of events and comedian of the Pumpkin  He is excited and eager to be on the team and is continouing to learn and share his experience.  Jorge is that person you go to for questions about CORE group and Social Events.

Anthony Ocampo, Health Educator:

Full of energy and smiles, he is definitely one to cheer you up.  Anthony comes to the ITM family representing North County SD as the place to be.  As a proud Pacific Islander, he is eager to get more Asian and Pacific Islanders involved in the HIV field.  Having grown up in a military household, he understands the complexities of change and hope to bring his expertise and knowledge of the North County LGBT Community to the team.  Anthony is that person you can go to when you want to volunteer for Outreach and Surveys.
